On 6 March 2025, we contributed to the Tag der Physik und Astronomie 2025 de (Day of Physics and Astronomy) of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy. Dustin-Philipp Preissler, the PhD researcher in our Ö-project  lead by Prof. Holger Cartarius and Prof. Timo Mappes, took the chance to present his optimized laser setup for physical education to the wide audience that was participating today.

Additionally, we have been present with a playful approach to building up optical tables as well as a virtual-reality setup. Using VR to highlight the immersive feeling when being actually inside the results of computational simulations on top of hearing and talking about them was - based on the reactions of the visitors - clearly something that all enjoyed.

Some impressions of this amazing event can be found on the webiste of the faculty of physics and astronomy and on the instagram channel of "Das ist ThüringenExternal link" (This is thuringia).
